Dear Parents,
What a Shabbat! We ate, sang, learned, and ate some more! The weather was beautiful up in Poriah. On Friday Night we joined with TJJ Bus 3, which has participants from Western Canada and Montreal for Kabbalat Shabbat. On Shabbat Day, we enjoyed a late wake up and got to sleep in! We played some team building games and enjoyed a nice relaxing afternoon. In the evening, we had a moving Havdala service (literally we moved – we danced!) and enjoyed the musical accompaniment of our medic/logistics guide Shuki, who plays mandolin. Saturday night, we had pizza and a movie! Its sort of sad to leave Poriah, but tomorrow we are going to Tzfat!
