Dear Parents,
Instead of the Zavitan hike, we had a relaxing time at the Yehudia hike and natural water pools. We played in the water and threw a ball around and enjoyed the natural beauty of the springs. In the Ole Essence factory in Katsrin, we learned about the economics of the ancient olive trade in the Golan Heights. We got to try some of the olive products at the factory, including tasting different oils and trying different beauty products derived from the oil .You can never have too many shopping opportunities, so when we drove by a mall, we stopped at the BiG! It is a big shopping mall indeed. After dinner, we headed back out to Ancient Katrsin and toured some of the incredible archaeological structures, like houses and an old synagogue. It was really interesting to see how Jews lived in the mountains 2000 years ago. After, we enjoyed a bonfire, made smores, and played guitar. It was a really great day!
