Dear NCSY TJJ Lion Pride,

Greetings from the GOLAN!!!!

We started off our Golan residence with a crazy, wet and wild day!!!!

The morning was spent enjoying the idyllic Majrase,the largest freshwater reserve in Israel. We had a great time exploring the reserve and learning how the water from the Golan reaches the Kinneret. Our day continued as the bus took us to Tiberias, which we learned is one of the four holiest cities in the world!!! We took some time to enjoy a teambuilding exercise in the Kinneret by having a raft building competition, congratulations to our winners, Team One!!!!!!!

Thursday afternoon continued with an awesome stop at a Waterpark!!! The water trampolines and obstacle courses were so much fun!! After getting soaked at the Waterpark, we capped off our day with a rocking boat cruise out on the Kinneret. For dinner we had a true cultural food experience as we ate out in an Israeli steak restaurant, El Rancho. Pita, Hummus, Kufteh, and Pargiyot galore!! 

We are looking forward to tomorrow when we visit Tzefat!
