Dear Parents,
This morning we departed for Hebron, to visit the famed Machpela cave. This is the burial site of our Matriarchs and Patriarchs; we prayed quite a special Shacharit together as a group at the burial site of Abraham. Then, we visited Kfar Etzion to learn about the inspiring and tragic story of its history and struggle to survive as a settlement. We returned to Jerusalem to experience the truly unique Machne Yehuda. The streets were packed with tour groups and people buying food, treats, and supplies for Shabbat. Right now we are getting ready to go to the Kotel for kabbalat Shabbat.
