Dear Parents,
Our tour of Jerusalem began with a breathtaking view of the city from a lookout point. When we arrived in the old city, we toured the City of David and the walked through the excavations. We had some heated discussions about how 4000 year old technology was able to move huge stones (we still don’t have the answer)! We learned about the first and second temple and gained insight into how life worked in the old city. We toured the Rova and Cardo, and got to choose our lunch from different restaurants. Finally, it was time to go to the Kotel! For many of us, this was our first time visiting the holy site. We felt incredibly moved by the experience and, as we prayed at the Wall together, thought about how thankfull we are for the goodness that we have in our lives.
