Thursday august 7, 2014 we’ve finally made it to universal studios! From the massive globe to the great rides we really had a unique experience. Beautiful vistas and exhilarating rides entertained us throughout the day! The coolest thing was the tour of the studios where we learned a lot about the inner movie making world. We got to take a little sneak peek behind the curtain that is Hollywood! They have an entire mini city with blocks labelled based on which part of the world they would wish to film there. There are houses like Manhattan side by side with all parts of Europe! Many of our favorite movies were filmed right there using the unique system of cinematic experiences developed in this institute.
Did you know that a lens has only two dimensional viewing and by making smaller windows above large ones it can give the illusion of a much taller building?
We sat on a bus as weather was controlled and attacked by sharks while being flash flooded!
We learned about so many of similar techniques, while also viewing the largest and most advanced 3d experience from Steven Spielberg.
All in all we had a great time while also seeing and learning to view all people beyond the masks that they must wear. We learned to value the true reality of every person more than ever. In essence Universal Studios is a place of great creativity, innovation and even has some lessons to teach us along the way!
Finally after an authentic supper of Israeli swarmah we ended another awesome day with a pool party.
Members of the jewish community opened their houses, pools and even hot tubs to our bus for an evening of bus chills! Seeing and benefiting first hand from the Jewish ideals of loyalty, community and family. Letting a random group of teens such open access taught us all a valuable lesson of living life in a jewish fashion: caring is sharing.
Thanks so much for all
