There’s a lot to say as participants of The Jewish Journey, with very little words that can truly express our emotions towards the unforgettable experience. We may have started out as participants on the trip, but I think it’s safe to say that we have surpassed that title and have become one big family. We have laughed, cried, slept, eaten, and lived together for a full month, and every step of the way was simply amazing. A single day on TJJ can not be summarized by any itinerary, for to comprehend everything we have done, one would have to partake in all the activities that we have accomplished.
As time progressed over the summer, we noticed that every person on this trip felt as if they were a part of something bigger than themselves. There were so many people who were continuously learning new things about Judaism, about one another and what kind of life they would like to lead. We’ve learned so much about our ancestors and the battles they have fought which lead to the establishment of the state of Israel.
On behalf of Bus 2, we would like to express our boundless gratitude to all the staff whom without, this trip would simply be like any other. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity of a life time and truly making this trip an awesome experience!
Last but not least, we would like to thank all of our parents and guardians for sending us on this wonderful and emotional adventure. Thank you so much! We love you with all our hearts!
