Hey!

Today we woke up around 730 am and had breakfast all-you-can-eat buffet style. We enjoyed it a lot. After that we loaded the bus to head toward Jilabun Canyon and hiked 3 miles!!!!!!! At times it was hard but by working together using the team building skills from the ropes course we did yesterday, we got through it. Once we finished the hike we went to go get some good pizza in Katzrin (city up North) with the whole bus, had a fun meal, then spent some time shopping around the area. Later after shopping, we went to a cool look out place, Volcanic Mount Ben Tal, and crawled though the the former Syian bunker, which everyone enjoyed. Benyamin, our awesome tour guide, spoke about the underground fortress/bunker which was captured in 1973 during the Yom Kippur war; we had a learning session about the wars that occured around that location and of the bunks.

Tonight is our first shabbat on TJJ! We are very excited to participate in the Tefillot/prayers as well as delicious food and fascinating programs. We’ll let you know how it was after shabbat!
