Day 1

After a long flight, we’re officially settled in at the Bayit Vagan guest house, ready for orientation to kick off the best summer ever!!!!

Even though wake up was early and we were running on little to no sleep, everyone was up eager to start our first adventure. We headed first to an AMAZING tefillah by Manu, followed by an awesome breakfast and then headed to load the busses to our first destination. We went to the park to play icebreakers and got to know more similarities amongst the Lions.

Next we went to the Temple Mount sifting project to sift and find archeological artifacts and stopped for a quick lunch. Then we ventured on to the city of David. During this journey, we learned all about the city from our very own tour guide Daniel. He took us through the spring filled tunnels while telling us the history behind it all.

We got back to the hotel to rest and then headed out to Gan Soccer for an amazing time with all of the TJJ Lions with a sick BBQ, frisbee, football and basketball!

Now we’re getting ready to get some rest before continue on our journey to the Golan!!
