Today has been a meaningful day. We started of going to Har Hertzel which is Israel’s milatary cemetery. We heard different stories from advisors and tour guides who either went through the army or knew of people who have fallen in battle. We left feeling appreciative to those who put their lives on the line and a feeling of אחדות, connectedness and oneness with the rest of the Jewish people. We then went to Yad Vashem where we learned about the times of the haloucaust. Our last stop for the day was the kotel. It was a special moment for those who have never been to the kotel and even for those who have. Everyone got a blind fold and we removed it all together to get the full effect. We ended off our day back in yad Binyamin and had a chance to split up into our chaburas to debrief and discuss our day.
