So it’s Shabbat here in the holy land, and I find myself with a certain degree of FOMO (fear of missing out). The staff and the kids have split up for the weekend, and to me it feels like me and my family are separated. Over the course of the past couple weeks we have grown, bonded, and have had a lot of fun together. As an advisor on this program (yes an advisor is writing the blog “gasp”) I have seen so much physical and spiritual growth. The effect all the people on this trip have had on me is insurmountable. We started this trip with writing our goals and now I’m starting to see some of these goals get accomplished and surpassed. So I want to say Shabbat Shalom L’ekulam , and I’m excited to see everyone at the end of the weekend!!
