Day 14! By Ronny Rochwerg and Yagil Yacobi

Today wakeup was at 7:00. We went to shacharit at 7:15 and put on Tefillin. At around 9:00 we boarded the bus and headed to Ben Yehudah street in Jerusalem. We were there for one hour and it was a lot of fun. We then boarded the bus at 12:15 and went to “The Jerusalem Biblical Zoo”. While there we had burgers and fries for lunch that were delicious. After lunch we split into teams to compete in a scavenger hunt. We made friends with the staff and we had a guy yell, “TJJ BUS 2 2015 ROCKS”. After the real zoo we went to the Jewish zoo. With Rabbi Slevkin at the lead we learnt about many animals and their ties to the Torah. We also got to touch many of the animals like the two snakes, the rabbit and the behemoth skull head aka the hippo. After our animal friendly day, we went to the supermarket where many of us filled up our bags with shoko be sakit or “chocolate in a bag” or klik the common Israeli chocolate snack. We ended off the day with a touching movie about Mikel Levine an Israeli soldier from America that died in the second Lebanon war. Can’t wait for the blind museum tomorrow. All in all today was a very dank day.
