Day 9! By: Eliana Torontow

Today we went swimming in a ravine. When the group got there we were all sweating and wanted to get into the water. When I went in, it was freezing and I was shivering. After the swim, we got to go to an olive oil brewery, were we learned about different techniques used to make olive oil and many different uses for the oil. We got the chance to put some crushed up olive cream on our hands and faces to make them soft as well as cleanse them. I really enjoyed my time there and learned a lot. When the oil tour was over we went back on the bus and started to head back to the hotel to get ready for the camp fire, however we made a quick stop at a mall first. When we got to the camp fire, we got a small tour of a really cool old Shul, and the shul had a really cool hidden menorah in one of the walls from the past. After the little tour, we got to the camp fire and the tour guide told us a story. When the story was over we all sat down and started singing songs. It was an amazing night and I can’t wait for Shabbat!
